Notes for Tour Reservation and Inclement Weather Special Arrangements
Arrangements of S Gallery tour:
- Period available for reservations: from now until January 2023
- Date and time opened for visits:
- Tuesdays to Sundays: 09:30 – 10:30 / 11:30 – 12:30 / 14:00 – 15:00 / 16:00 – 17:00 (1 hour for each session), maximum 24 visitors for each session, guided tour service provided
- Closed on Mondays
- All visits should be applied online (no walk-in tours).
- All visits are required to be applied at least 5 days prior to the desired visiting date. Due to limited quota, the application is processed on a first-come-first-served basis. The Gallery will notify the applicant of the result of the application via email.
- Any incomplete, insufficient or incorrect data may affect the processing time and the outcome of the application.
- No transferable of the approved application.
- Cancellation of booking should be made 3 days prior to the date of visit by email to S Gallery. Late cancellation will be regarded as an absence.
- Visiting groups should arrive 10 minutes before the confirmed time of the visit and show the confirmation email at S Gallery. The Gallery reserves the right to cancel the visits of the latecomers if the visiting groups are late for 10 min or more.
- Groups not showing up or less than 50% of the total no. of persons will have their booking right being suspended for 2 months after the originally scheduled date.
- For the elderly, children or persons with disability, they should be taken care by their visiting group. For a group of persons with special needs, please contact S Gallery for prior arrangements.
- Visiting groups should arrange their own transportation, hourly parking at the University is not provided. Visitors are encouraged to come by public transport (e.g. 25A/25B/25M/25MS minibus to HKBU hall)
- If there are any changes to the visit arrangement, please call 3411 7164 or email iba@hkbu.edu.hk for amendment.
- Rainstorm “Amber” or “Red” Warning Signal / Standby Signal No. 1 or Strong Wind Signal No. 3 Issued
Activities will be held as scheduled when an “Amber” or “Red” Rainstorm Warning Signal / Standby Signal NO. 1 or Strong Wind Signal NO. 3 is in force.
Rainstorm “Black” Warning Signal / Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above Issued

Tropical Cyclone Warning signal No. 8 or above: All activities in progress will be suspended immediately. “Black” Rainstorm Warning signal: In the event that the Government has announced to the public that, due to certain extreme conditions, Visitors should be advised to stay in their places or safe locations for another two hours (or longer if extended). Activities will be continued until session ended. |

- The decision of S Gallery shall be final for the approval of the application. If the applicant violates the above provisions or provides false information, S Gallery reserves the right to cancel any approved application.
